Jonathan Pfeffer, MSW, LSW

(Center City Office and Telehealth)

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist living in Philadelphia who provides individual therapy to adults. I provide therapy out of the Center City office and virtually.

During my time at Bryn Mawr’s Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, I supported neurodiverse students in an undergraduate college setting, and at a CBH-affiliated group practice helping low-fee clients move toward greater autonomy and emotional resilience.

My holistic, client-centered approach springs from a belief in a person’s lifelong potential for change and the creative capacity of all. I have a deep commitment to helping others navigate how unresolved histories impact our present capacities to shape unwritten futures.

I am a passionate advocate for the viability of “unconventional” paths. My aim is to support clients as they uncover what’s important to them, prioritize what they truly want, and let go of self-defeating patterns.
